Copper is the most beautiful material to work with and I embrace all its different qualities to shape and make art for the garden and home. The inspiration for my work is most often mother nature whether that be plants or animals and the garden is the perfect setting for showcasing them.

The finishes I use vary from sparkling shiny copper to flame painting and verdigris, and I continue to try new methods of achieving that perfect finish.  I regularly share knowledge with experts around the world to further my understanding and skills in all things copper.

As copper is a challenging material, I find myself treading the fine line between art and engineering with my sculptures, to create a piece that is beautiful and engaging but practical and functional.  I am often as proud of the extensive supportive armatures underneath a sculpture as I am of the finished piece, even though they may be hidden from view!

I love to collaborate with clients working with them to arrive at their perfect design be that meeting one to one at my workshop near Devizes Wiltshire or communicating at distance by Zoom, e-mail or phone.
