Bea Green

Bea’s gardening observations have now become part of her ongoing Environmental Ceramic sculptures, which exemplify her love of Nature’s natural flowing forms. Recently she returned to live in Devon, where her concerns increased with our current poor DAYLIGHT LEVELS. This led to her five stoneware sculptures, the “Messengers”. These were derived from her twelve paintings relating to climate change problems, which highlight the lack of SUNLIGHT.

The “Messengers” use her full range of Ceramic Engobe colours, which allow their painterly juxtaposition on vertical surfaces without running or blending when stoneware-fired (1260degC) making them suitable for outdoor or indoor use.

Bea studied Ceramics & Painting to degree level, enabling her to work with an international cliental for over 25 years. Her work is owned in public and private collections across Europe, in New Zealand and in Japan’s Tajimi Museum.
