Elliot Dylan Quinn
Originally from Suffolk, Elliot discovered a passion for clay work after moving to Oxfordshire in 2022. Their art is a deeply personal exploration, shaped by their experiences with schizophrenia. Sculptures often represent the creatures and forms they encounter during difficult times, turning what could be an isolating experience into one that can be shared and understood through art.
Elliot works primarily with clay, drawn to its raw, organic texture that allows them to mould their inner visions into tangible forms. Their sculptures often blur the line between reality and imagination, inviting viewers to engage with the unseen worlds that others may navigate silently. This creative process is both therapeutic and communicative, offering insights into mental health through a unique artistic lens.
Inspired by the natural world and the surreal landscapes of the mind, Elliot’s work captures a blend of earthly and fantastical elements. Their goal is to use art as a bridge to foster empathy and understanding, highlighting the complexity and beauty of the human experience.
