Lindsay Neale Waring (formerly Lindsay Waring) is a largely self taught sculptor who is drawn to working in wire. Lindsay enjoys pushing the wire to it’s limits, literally sometimes, as she pulls and stretches the material to gain form and strength. 

Lindsay’s inspiration comes from flowing form, wildlife and human emotions. The constant promise of a challenge is what spurs her on to try new forms. Gleaning tips from wherever she can Lindsay has developed her own unique style and values the meditative process she has evolved.

Often seeking opportunities to include small kinetic elements Lindsay’s sculpture showcase best in an outdoor environment. Indoor work is often displayed in a way that draws attention to the delightful lacy shadows that wire displays once a light is directed with thought.

Lindsay also teaches workshops and curates sculpture exhibitions.
