I make a wide variety of sculptures – both figurative and abstract. Though contemporary in style, I mostly use traditional materials like stone, bronze and wood, but I enjoy using new materials and methods if they suit my purpose.

As an artist I am largely self-taught, having graduated from medical school rather than art school, though I have attended a figure sculpting group for several years.

I have exhibited mostly around Bath for several years. I am probably best known for The Casting Out (a tableau of ten figures which was installed outside Bath Abbey in 2017), and 16 Million (which has had many public showings since 2014).

I have completed commissions for sculptures ranging from bronze animal and personal portraits to larger abstract garden pieces in wood or concrete.

In 2018 I was the winner of the David Simon Contemporary prize for sculpture at the Bath Society of Artists’ annual open exhibition (for The Wind and Sea).

I am an associate artist at 44AD Artspace, a founder member of the Cotswold Sculptors Association.
